April 2025 Transits
Below you’ll find my new Astro Calendar followed by some insights into this month’s astrological highlights. For personal horoscopes based on your own birth chart and timing you can book with me here (as soon as my books open again).
Planets as Time-Lords:
Each zodiac sign has a ruling planet, and when a sign becomes activated (using sign-based techniques), that planet then becomes a lord for the highlighted period. By analyzing planetary conditions along with timing techniques, these lords help determine which transiting planets carry greater impact, whether their effects are favorable or challenging, and how they are likely to assert themselves according to the root / birth chart. It’s important to note that transits do not affect everyone in the same way. This is why anchoring transits to the birth chart is essential for better astrological analysis.

The Rundown:
The month begins with Venus and Mercury retrograde conjoining the North Node once again in the sign of Pisces. This transit revisits the daunting themes Venus had been dealing with at the beginning of February and those of Mercury at the beginning of March when they made their first conjunction while direct. Like I mentioned then, the North Node has a way of pushing things past their comfort zones so you can expect whatever was highlighted then to make a comeback during their current retrogrades. With Saturn applying to both, these comebacks could highlight long-term connotations, burdens or delays that may add to any of the initial concerns brought on by the North Node's disruptive and demanding nature. Keep in mind these themes are likely to show up one more time when the Moon activates them towards the end of the month, bringing final insights as they move forward once again.
Not long after, Mercury stations direct in Pisces bringing some stability to the houses it rules while still dealing with its fall and the cluster it finds itself in with Venus, Saturn and the North Node, all of which are squared and ruled by Jupiter in its detriment. It's honestly a rough period but with how shitty everything is at the moment I'm at least thankful the benefics are involved. Despite the world currently going though it, the least we can do is know that this period and all its shortcomings will pass, plus we have better times to look forward to in the year.
Mid month we then have a Full Moon in Libra with Venus stationing direct, as if to announce the rainbow after the storm given all Venus has gone through these past weeks. Do know that this Moon is squared by Mars in Cancer, agitating what is already uncomfortable by lunar phase and by lordship given Venus' conjunctions as mentioned earlier; the rainbow isn't without the weight of realization of all that is to come in managing what the storm (these retrogrades) has been emphasizing in the mundane and in ones nativity.
Mercury then enters Aries once again, picking up whatever its fall struggled with in Pisces and moving with more action and decisiveness in mind within the house of Aries, and as ruler of the house themes of Gemini and Virgo in the nativity. Shortly after, Mars finally leaves its fall and moves into Leo bringing a much needed relief to the house of Cancer. As Mars enters Leo it makes a trine to Mercury, strengthening its drive and further emphasizing its fiery qualities; expect for things to pick up tremendously for the house of Aries, and the Mars ruled, given the boldness and courage that contrasts to Mars' time in Cancer.
The Sun then enters Taurus followed by Venus' exact conjunction to Saturn in Pisces. Towards the end of the month we get a New Moon in Taurus highlighting what is the beginning of a new lunar month as Venus begins to separate from Saturn and the North Node, a good omen for the advancement from what has felt like a long and daunting period of concerns, delays and burdens. Venus then enters Aries once again, bringing her benefic influences to the house of Aries in your chart(s) where she prioritizes freedom of expression and a distinct approach to how she navigates what is detriment to her nature. A much-preferred expression given what she dealt with during her time in exaltation... and that's all for this month folks! :)
