March 2025 Transits

Below you’ll find my new Astro Calendar followed by some insights into this month’s astrological highlights. For personal horoscopes based on your own birth chart and timing you can book with me here (as soon as my books open again).

Planets as Time-Lords:

Each zodiac sign has a ruling planet, and when a sign becomes activated (using sign-based techniques), that planet then becomes a lord for the highlighted period. By analyzing planetary conditions along with timing techniques, these lords help determine which transiting planets carry greater impact, whether their effects are favorable or challenging, and how they are likely to assert themselves according to the root / birth chart. It’s important to note that transits do not affect everyone in the same way. This is why anchoring transits to the birth chart is essential for better astrological analysis.

The Highlights:

The Rundown:

These upcoming weeks pack quite the punch, to say the least. With 2 eclipses this month and several planets clustering around the north node, the heavens are anything but quiet. This emphasis within the Piscean waters of the birth chart leaves much to be desired, especially when it comes to Jupiter's ruling and any unfulfilled promises brought on by its current detriment. Even so, the desire to bring about the dreams and ideas, despite how distorted they may become, sets the stage for many of the shifts coming about this month.

Change is in the air; the month begins with Mercury separating from a conjunction to the North Node followed by Venus stationing retrograde. The parts of our charts ruled by Mercury are likely to find more footing with whatever destabilization the North Node had been bringing about. This could look like moving away from playing with possibilities or "what ifs", just in time for Mercury's ingress to Aries where things are likely to pick up with more action in mind.

With Venus also stationing retrograde, we can expect our pleasures to be tested for what they're worth. You may find yourself questioning whether you want to move forward with the things that have caught your interest recently. Especially when it comes to matters of the house that Aries oversees in your chart, as well as any justifications that have encouraged their enjoyment. You could also look to the houses Venus rules in your chart for further context - although they're much more subtle they often act as causes to the effects Venus, or any other planet, carries out.

Not so long after, Mercury conjoins Venus bringing about a sense of novelty. It's as if curiosity and interest came together eagerly to start something new, something fresh. Remember that when two planets conjoin, they bring about seeds through both of their rulings so look to the houses they rule for contexts of cause. With the Sun conjoining Saturn, a moment of clarity among all the shit going on could change the narrative. If there's one thing a cazimi will do, it’s get to the heart of the matter so expect some form of revelation to any current burdens from Saturn.

Right around the corner we also have our first Lunar Eclipse since the nodal shift. You may have noticed that the themes of the house Virgo sits in have begun to be less active or reduced in some way compared to when the nodes where in Aries, this is due to the South Nodes diminishing nature. Remember that Eclipses are forces of change so whatever gets highlighted after this Lunar Eclipse is likely to play into what sets the stage for the Solar Eclipse at the end of the month. Whether you're taking a risk or leaving something behind, changes are necessary so don't let fear get the best of you.

Mercury goes retrograde shortly after and we all know how that goes. Make sure to recheck your lists , orders, text messages, cars and everything that moves one thing to another for your own sanity. Don't let Mercury catch you slipping and keep it moving ladies!

Mid month the Sun then enters Aries, announcing Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and a new astrological year! Shortly after, Venus and Mercury undergo their own cazimi moments, echoing the previous conjunction but with newfound clarity. As the month draws to a close, Venus and Mercury retrograde into Pisces, following the Solar Eclipse in Aries and its closure on past nodal narratives. Until next month! :)
